BOMBSHELL: JUST THE LUXURY WATCHES SEIZED FROM FIRST FEW NAJIB RAIDS WORTH RM80 MILLION – REPORT

With so many raids going on, you may have forgotten about the first few raids that started it all, which are the ones carried out at few residences linked to former prime minister Dato’ Seri Najib Razak’s family. The haul that was seized from that raid certainly shocked Malaysians as the police discovered a huge amount of luxurious goods, cash and jewellery.
Source: The Sun Daily Previously, Commercial Crime Investigation Department chief Datuk Seri Amar Singh had announced that they found RM114 million in cash in 26 different currencies stashed in 35 bags. As there were 72 bags seized during the raid, this has left everyone wondering what the remaining items in the other 37 bags are.
Now, China Press has revealed one of the mysteries and they reported that the valuation process for the luxury goods and jewellery is almost done. Imagine, the police took about a month to value everything! So far, China Press says that the police found 433 units of luxury watches worth an approximate RM80 million in the bags.

In another report, China Press says that the police were stunned at the amount of amassed wealth found in the bags as there were a few watches that cost more than RM1 million each. The most expensive watch they found is apparently a Rolex watch that’s worth RM3.5 million while another Swiss watch by Cecil Purnell reportedly cost RM1.2 million. Wah, so expensive!
Some of the other watches seized in the raid include Richard Mille and Patek Philippe, which are well known for their quality and eye-watering prices. Currently, the amount of jewellery and handbags confiscated are still unknown but it is expected that Amar will hold a press conference once they have a final number. We wonder how much more wealth is actually hidden in other places!
