ONCE HE WAS SABAH’S ALL-POWERFUL CM, NOW MUSA AMAN IS WANTED BY INTERPOL: COPS CONFIRM REQUEST FOR RED NOTICE TO ARREST & DEPORT MUSA

Police had applied to have Interpol issue a red notice for former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman.
“If he comes back, action will be taken (against him) in accordance with the law,” Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun told a press conference in Bukit Aman today.
Police have been trying to question Musa over several events which occurred immediately after the May 9 elections.
After disappearing on May 14, Musa issued a statement from the UK on Tuesday and denied that he was on the run.
He said he was seeking medical treatment abroad, among other reasons for his absence.
However, the police had confirmed that there were no immigration records to show Musa had left the country.
The police believed that Musa had exited the country through Brunei.
Musa’s statement on Tuesday did not confirm nor deny this.
Police are investigating allegations that Musa had intimidated Sabah governor Juhar Mahiruddin soon after the elections.
On updates regarding the manhunt for Sungai Besar Umno leader Jamal Md Yunos, Fuzi said the Indonesian police are still on the hunt.
“Many people asked me about Jamal and some claimed to know on his whereabouts. Some said he is in Riau and some said he is in Batam.
“I have checked with the Indonesian police and they said so far there has been no arrest,” Fuzi said.
In recent weeks, Jamal published several video clips of himself where he maintained that he was still in the country.
Last month, Jamal went missing after being charged at the Ampang Puteri Hospital in Kuala Lumpur, with regard to a protest where he smashed beer bottles in front of the state secretariat building in Shah Alam.
He is also being investigated for a firearm offense.
