Umno acting deputy president Hishammuddin Hussein has slammed Pakatan Harapan for running the government with politics of hate.
The former minister said Harapan should instead focus on the fulfilling its 100-day manifesto.
"A month has passed, it's not very long. They still got lots of promises to fulfil and their full cabinet (line-up) has yet to be announced," Hishammuddin told the media today.
"But my deep concern is the politics of hate. The way they carry themselves is as though the former government had not done anything good. That's not the way forward.
"If you want to run this country, you can't run it by showing hatred against the former government. The rakyat has already made the decision, so go ahead and run the country well. That's my advice," he said.
The six-term parliamentarian had during the general election campaign last month had also made the same remarks.
He said "politics of hate", which he claimed was the main agenda of Harapan, would backfire as the people were aware of the good things and development put in place by the BN government.
He said the people would not be fooled by Harapan. -Mkini
