SUBANG JAYA COLLGE IN SHOCK: 19-YEAR-OLD STUDENT KILLS HIMSELF WITH STOLEN PISTOL IN TOILET

PETALING JAYA: A 19-year-old male college student stole a pistol from a shooting club and is believed to have shot himself in the toilet of a private college in Subang Jaya.

The student’s body was discovered by a janitor at 5.56pm on Tuesday (June 26).

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohammad Azlin Sadari said the victim’s body was discovered along with the pistol beside him.

“The student has been studying at the college for about 10 months.

“He was also a member of the shooting club since 2015,” he said when contacted.

He added that the victim had allegedly stolen the weapon from the club some two hours before the body was discovered.

“The victim’s father also stated that the boy had been suffering from depression since a year ago,” ACP Mohammad Azlin said.
