Non-Muslims have every right to take part in any debate on laws
including those that affect them indirectly, says Anwar
laws affect Muslims, affected non-Muslims as well
PKR supported Hadi to present proposed Bill (RU355)
what is presented is not hudud, Hadi’s interpretation,” he added.
Anwar said non-Muslims concerned over minor issues
when asked about major differences about religion in the country
We have to navigate and weigh these issues well,” he said
Anwar also asked on fate of Jakim
“Tun Mahathir did not say abolish but to re-examine,” said Anwar.
My comments :
Of course lah the Law is for everyone.
We all know that already.
Did anyone say that the law is NOT for everyone?
Tell us something that we do not already know.
Say something new lah.
But, however, on the other hand, please explain how the King pardoned ALL your crimes ALL the way to 1998?
That is a super duper law that not everyone has enjoyed since our Independence in 1957.
I mean someone said there are over 30,000 convicted criminals in our jails. (I really dont know the exact number). There must be rapists and sodomists among them.
Can any one of the prisoners in our jails go to the Agong and get him to pardon ALL their crimes? I dont think so.
So maybe the Law does not really apply equally to everyone.
Some are more special than others.
Err if RUU355 was only Hadi's own interpretation, then why did PKR support Hadi's (RU355)? Why not just dump it in the dustbin where it belongs?
"major differences about religion" have been around for over 1000 years.
No one has been able to resolve any of these differences for over a 1000 years.
Tell us exactly how you propose to navigate and weigh these issues ?
Tell us something new lah Brader?
Tell us something more profound.
Dont just make sound bytes to sound smart.
