KUALA LUMPUR: Price WaterhouseCoopers partner Tengku Muhammad Taufik Tengku Aziz has been appointed as chief financial officer of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas), effective Oct 15.
The Prime Minister’s Office, in a statement today, said Tengku Taufik would replace Manharlal Ratilal.
“Tengku Taufik has also been appointed as a member of the board of directors of Petronas,” it added.
The Prime Minister’s Office also announced the appointment of two other members of the board, namely deputy secretary-general of Treasury Siti Zauyah Md Desa and director of the Macroeconomics Division in the economic affairs ministry Zakiah Jaafar. -FMT
