PETALING JAYA: A lorry crashed into a walkway leading into the Taipan LRT station early Friday (May 3).
Selangor Traffic Investigations and Enforcement deputy chief DSP Sahimi said that the incident occurred at around 5.30am, in Persiaran Kewajipan, Subang Jaya.
"The lorry went out of control and crashed into the walkway and nearby escalator. The driver was sent to the hospital for treatment.
"Investigations are still ongoing to identify the cause of the crash," he said.
It is learnt that the injuries sustained by the driver are not serious.
The accident is being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act, for reckless driving.- Star
