Please don’t send Naik back to India, PAS pleads with Putrajaya
The Islamist party wants the government to protect the controversial preacher despite money laundering charges levelled against him in India.
Zakir Naik is a WANTED "FUGITIVE" in India and a few other countries.
PAS leaders need to realise that Zakir Naik is an Indian national and if he is wanted for crimes committed there, it is only rightful that Putrajaya hands him over to his home country to face trial and whatever punishment meted out by their own legal system.
Crimes known so far that was committed by Zakir Naik is terrorism, money-laundering and money theft.
Zakir Naik must be grateful to Malaysia that they have given him a permanent residency status when there are those who were born here who are still "stateless" due to some procedural defects.
Once the Interpol RED NOTICE is issued, Malaysia should actually proceed to deport him to India to face the charges made against him.
No one should be protecting a criminal for their own selfish gains.
