PKR will act on alleged sexual harassment if cops find wrongdoing

PKR will take disciplinary action if the police find that the sexual harassment allegations against Sungai Siput MP S Kesavan and another party member to be true.
"PKR will not hesitate to take disciplinary action in accordance to the party's rules if the police investigation finds any law has been breached in the case," the party's central leadership council said in a statement.
The statement came after the party held its political bureau meeting today.
Yesterday, PKR vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin said that the matter would be discussed during the meeting.
The PKR leadership council said it viewed the matter seriously, and noted that both parties have lodged police reports against each other.
"PKR fully supports the police investigation, and hopes the process will be done fairly and diligently," the statement read.
Kesavan has denied the sexual harassment allegation, claiming the 47-year-old accuser had feelings for him.
The woman, who only wants to be known as "Ammu", had denied Kesavan's counterclaims and demanded answers from him. - Mkini
