Lokman plans mega rally against Rome Statute, targets one million
What is there to plan a mega rally against Rome Statute when the current PH government has already announced that Malaysia had withdrawn from the Rome Statute. Even PM Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad had clearly stated his stand that the cabinet had agreed not to ratify to the Rome Statute.
It is felt that some political "hidden hands" were involved in the four university professors in presenting a paper on the Rome Statute to the royalties which now reveals to be a total misrepresentation of the facts.
Malaysians are currently facing a critical moment where household prices are on the hike and affecting everyone more so the poor people.
Rather than overcoming this critical issue, UMNO and PAS leaders want to waste valuable time and efforts on unfruitful and wasted projects.
In order to stop these irresponsible people from hoodwinking further the rakyat, the authorities should reject any application for any rallies that seem to be of un-importance to the rakyat and to the nation.
Furthermore, Lokman is currently facing a few court cases, the authorities concerned should expedite those cases immediately so that punishment and sentence could be meted out against him as soon as possible. - Mohd. Kamal Abdullah
