JOHOR BARU: Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim has assured his mother, Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Binti Almarhum Sultan Idris, that everything will be alright.
“Don't worry Mama. Everything is going to be alright.
“No matter how dark the storm may be, there will always be sunlight. I promise you. ALLAH Peliharakan Sultan,” he said in a post on his official Facebook post.
Tunku Ismail gave the assurance, after Raja Zarith wrote a heartfelt post on her Facebook page over criticism from various quarters towards her children, in particular Tunku Ismail.
“As a mother who had gone through seeing one of my child exhaled his last breath and see him buried, it may not be wrong if I feel depressed when my other children are subjected to insults, ridicule and be made as an entertainment to those who think they are smarter and never did any wrong.
Raja Zarith was referring to her son, Almarhum Tunku Laksamana Johor Tunku Abdul Jalil Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, who died after a year-long battle with liver cancer at age 25 in 2015.
