IPOH: The police have once again urged those with information on the whereabouts of Muhammad Riduan Abdullah or K. Patmanathan to come forward.
In a wanted notice issued on Jan 18, Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Yahaya Hassan said those with information of the ex-husband of M. Indira Gandhi to contact investigating officer Asst Supt Yap Siew Cheng at 012-909 3362.
Indira Gandhi's daughter, Prasana Diksa, was taken away by him when she was 11 months old following a custody battle.
"Muhammad Riduan, whose last known address is at 10, Persiaran Pegoh Dua, off Jalan Pasir Puteh, here, is still wanted following the issuance of a warrant of committal against his name on 30 May 2014.
"We wished to have the cooperation of the people who have any information regarding him to come forward to help us locate him," he said on Wednesday (jan 18).
ACP Yahaya had issued the same wanted notice in September last year.
Muhammad Riduan had run away with Prasana Diksa in 2009.
Indira was granted custody over Prasana Diksa and two other children in 2010. The couple divorced in August 2012.
The High Court had on May 30, 2014, ordered the police to recover Prasana Diksa and to return her to Indira.
The mandamus also compelled the police to arrest and commit Muhammad Riduan to prison. - Star
