KUALA LUMPUR: Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB) has declared a total income distribution of RM2.36 billion for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, for its two fixed-price funds, Amanah Saham Bumiputera 2 (ASB 2) and Amanah Saham Malaysia (ASM).
ASB 2 declared a total income distribution of RM820 million, equivalent to 5.50 sen per unit for 680,141 unitholders, while ASM declared RM1.54 billion, equivalent to five sen per unit for 786,088 unitholders.
As of March 24, ASB 2 recorded net realised income of RM900 million, while ASM posted RM1.64 billion.
Permodalan Nasional Bhd said the performance was achieved despite a challenging global backdrop marked by uneven economic growth, increased volatility and heightened geopolitical tensions.
The funds' higher allocation to fixed income assets provided greater income stability and consistency during periods of uncertainty.
The distributions will be reinvested into unitholders' accounts on April 1.
Transactions for ASB 2 and ASM at ASNB branches and agents, including online channels and internet banking, will be suspended from March 27 to March 31 to facilitate the computation of income distribution. - NST
