Kuala Lumpur police chief Fadil Marsus says three reports have been lodged over the matter.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Fadil Marsus said police have received three reports and are investigating the case under Section 385 of the Penal Code and Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act (CMA) 1998.
Section 385 of the Penal Code covers putting a person in fear of injury to commit extortion, while Section 233 of the CMA covers the improper use of network facilities.
The video’s caption claimed that the men were members of Wangsa Maju PKR’s executive committee.
FMT has contacted acting Wangsa Maju PKR chief Azmee Abd Rahim for comment.
Yesterday, federal territories minister Hannah Yeoh directed that a police report be lodged over the video, and expressed hope that police would launch an immediate investigation.
Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) also denied the men’s claim of being affiliated with DBKL, saying it had no connection with the men in the video. - FMT
