The airport operator says improvement works were completed a week early, allowing the runway to return to full-length operations.

PETALING JAYA: Runway 3 at KLIA has resumed full-length operations seven days ahead of schedule after improvement works were completed earlier than planned.
In a Facebook post, KLIA said improvement works began with a full closure from Feb 24 to Feb 26, followed by operations under a shortened configuration while the remaining works continued.
“With the works now completed earlier than planned, the runway has resumed full-length operations ahead of schedule,” it said.
The operator said the works were part of ongoing efforts to maintain safety and quality standards.
The runway had been scheduled to reopen on March 17. - FMT
