Kuala Muda police chief Hanyan Ramlan says two men and a woman have been arrested to assist investigations.

Kuala Muda police chief Hanyan Ramlan said the male victim, in his late 20s, was repeatedly slashed and died in front of his house, Berita Harian reported.
Police arrested three suspects – two men and a woman – to assist investigations.
“The motive for the assault is still under investigation, but it is believed that intoxication played a role,” Hanyan said in a statement.
“The ties between the three suspects are also under investigation. One male suspect reportedly lives in the same neighbourhood as the victim.”
Police confiscated several weapons from the crime scene, believed to have been used by the suspects.
The case is being investigated under Sections 302 and 326 of the Penal Code for murder and voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a weapon. - FMT
