The menteri besar, Abu Bakar Hamzah, said the state government would provide the land and a private company would build the circuit.

Perlis menteri besar Abu Bakar Hamzah said the circuit would be equipped with various modern motor sports facilities and have a 1.3km-long straight.
The private company would invest RM20 million for the circuit construction work while the state government, through Menteri Besar (Incorporated) of Perlis, would provide the land, he said after chairing a special committee on the Perlis integrated motorsports hub proposal.
The ground-breaking ceremony for the project is expected to be carried out in about two months while the circuit is expected to be completed in about three years after construction work begins. - FMT
