This guy above is John Bolton who has been appointed Donald Trump's National Security Advisor. Bolton is the proverbial super hawk. Talk is you cannot get more hawkish than Bolton.
Interestingly, here is what John Bolton has said about the Israeli-Palestine issue :
* He does not believe two states is a Palestinian-Israeli option.
The United States should “advocate for a three-state solution which would merge Gaza with Egypt, and parts of the West Bank with Jordan,” Bolton said last year accepting Bar-Ilan University’s Ingeborg Rennert Center for Jerusalem Studies Guardian of Zion Award.
“I don’t think there is a viable Palestinian state. I don’t think there are institutions on the Palestinian side that can live up to the commitments of a treaty with Israel, that could give Israel or the U.S. or anyone confidence that such a state could provide for the well-being of the Palestinian people or could resist takeover by terrorist elements.”
This idea of merging Gaza with Egypt, West Bank with Jordan is gaining traction with the Trump administration. There seems to be a movement in this direction.
