This is an old video now. But that is US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson who is being grilled in public (in the Senate or Congress - they have such an open system) about US foreign policy towards Saudi Arabia.
Tillerson is speaking with such confidence that the new "peace centre" that has already been set up by the US 'inside Saudi Arabia' has begun rewriting Saudi school textbooks and madrasah textbooks which will be used throughout Saudi Arabia.
Not only that but the old Salafi influenced textbooks will be collected and likely destroyed. If this is true then it is good news indeed.
It is also evidence enough that the United States is the real dominant power in Saudi Arabia. The US rules over the Saudis.
Here is some 'trivia' folks. The US encouraged Salafism and Sunni extremism throughout the Cold War years (1945 - 1989) to keep communism from encroaching into the Sunni Arab countries. To a large extent this has been successful. Communism never took hold among the Sunni (and Shia) Arab countries.
But there was a price to pay. All the nuts became crazy Salafis. Now the time has come to reset the clock.
Here is more resetting:

My comments : The US is also disengaging from Saudi Arabia. Without the American security umbrella, the Saudis are gone. It is better for the US to leave the Saudis. There needs to be a new balance in the Middle East, without the Saudis. They never had any usefulness. It is better to start putting the Middle East together again without their presence.
