GE14 | In his final address before the 14th general election, Pakatan Harapan chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad said tomorrow's polls is an opportunity for the Malays to redeem their pride.
“For the Malays, this election is not merely about seeking victory for a political party but to redeem the pride of the race.
“Our parents had fought to free us from the shackles of colonialism, and our pride was redeemed and we became a race who could determine their own future,” he added.
However, Mahathir claimed that the sixth prime minister (Najib Abdul Razak) had brought about a catastrophe.
“From a struggle for the race, nation, and religion, Najib brought the belief that all can be bought with money,” he said.
