KUALA LUMPUR: Members of the public should remain calm and not believe in rumours that the country is in chaos, said Tan Sri Mohamad Fuzi Harun.
The Inspector-General of Police said while the results for the parliamentary seats in the general election have not been finalised, security in the country was still under control.
“Members of political parties must not hold any procession or rally that could jeopardise public order.
“We will continue to monitor the situation from time to time to ensure no provocation occurs that could threaten the safety and security of all Malaysians,” he said in a statement on Thursday morning.- Star
