Pakatan Harapan on verge of forming Negri Sembilan state government

SEREMBAN: Pakatan Harapan could be forming state government in Negri Sembilan.

According to unofficial results from Pakatan, the coalition has secured 19 state seats in Negri this is enough to form the state government.

Negri Pakatan chief Aminuddin Harun said the coalition has secured 19 state seats in Negri.

“Congratulations to rakyat in Negri Sembilan for your courage to make a change,” he told a press conference here.

“DAP has defended their 11 seats, PKR contributing 5 seats and Amanah won three seats here,” he said.

Negri Pakatan deputy president Anthony Loke said unofficial results Pakatan got were based on the information the coalition collected from Borang 14.

“Although we won the most state seats here. But I want to assure rakyat in the state will be headed by a Malay. Mentri besar will be a Malay,” Loke, who is also DAP Organising Secretary said.

Aminuddin said it is still too early to comment on the allocation of Excos and said this will only be decided when the mentri besar post is appointed.- Star
