Pribumi submits names of MPs for Cabinet shortlist

PUTRAJAYA: Pribumi has submitted the names of its MPs to be considered as Ministers in the new Cabinet line-up.

Party president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, however, did not disclose how many names were submitted for consideration.

Pribumi won 13 parliamentary and 24 state seats in the 14th General Election.

"I have submitted the names but it is up to the Prime Minister (Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad) to decide," he said when met at the Perdana Leadership Foundation office here on Tuesday..

Dr Mahathir had said that his government would have 10 core ministries first – Home, Finance, Defence, Economy, Education, Rural Development, Foreign, Public Works, Transport and Multimedia and Science.- Star
