Petaling Jaya – Tanah Merah PAS alleges to have detected from 200 to 300 Thai nationals being brought into the country to vote in the 14th general elections tomorrow.
It further claims that the men were transported on five lorries, which in turn were allegedly accompanied by two cars plastered with a political coalition logo and taken to a national training institute building compound when they were detected.
In claiming this, PAS organ Harakah daily posts an image of a group of men sitting on the floor outside of a building, although it is unclear what building that is.
Its website quotes party Tanah Merah committee member Mohd Zaki Mat Zain as saying PAS members waited till 2am, and contacted the Tanah Merah police who found the men.
However, aside from saying the men told them they were brought in and were being paid to vote for that coalition, PAS did not furnish further proof.
