
The Sungai Tua assemblyperson Amirudin Shari has been sworn in as the new Selangor menteri besar, putting weeks of speculation to rest.
The swearing-in ceremony was conducted at Istana Alam Shah, Klang, before Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at 10.15am today.
Amiruddin, who is also the state exco member for youth, sport, culture, and entrepreneur development, had arrived at the palace’s throne room at about 8.20am together with his wife Masdiana Muhamad at about 8.20am.
