Since 2009, Najib's Hari Raya open house event was held at Sri Perdana, Putrajaya where the prime minister and his cabinet members would be present.
This would be followed by Umno's open house event at PWTC and finally the one in Pekan.
Prime ministers preceding Najib traditionally held the cabinet's Hari Raya open house at PWTC which also houses Umno's headquarters.
There are no indications that Umno will be holding a Hari Raya open house event this year.
As for newly minted Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his cabinet, they will be holding their Hari Raya open house event at Sri Perdana.
Visitors are advised to park their vehicles at Putrajaya Sentral, the Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Mosque and the Putra Mosque before boarding the free bus service to Sri Perdana. -Mkini
