KWAP (Retirement Fund Incorporated) chief investment officer Nik Amlizan Mohamed (above) has been appointed as the new chief executive of LTAT (Armed Forces Fund Board) and also a board member, effective today.
Defence Minister Mohamad Sabu said her appointment was decided at a board meeting of LTAT on Aug 30 which was called to discuss the resignation of Lodin Wok Kamarudin as chief executive and his replacement.
“I agreed to accept Lodin Wok Kamarudin’s resignation as Chief Executive and board member of LTAT effective Sept 7, 2018.
“I also agreed to the recommendation by LTAT’s board of directors to appoint Nik Amlizan Mohamed to replace Lodin as chief executive and a board member of LTAT effective Sept 7, 2018,” he said a statement today.
Nik Amlizan has served as KWAP CIO since September 2014.
She is also a director of Prima Ekuiti (United Kingdom) Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of KWAP, a member of the investment committees of Valuecap Sdn Bhd, i-VCAP Management Sdn Bhd and Metropolitan Uxbridge Ltd in United Kingdom.
