TIME TO REMIND JAMAL YUNOS WHAT JAIL FEELS LIKE: UMNO’S NO.1 POLITICAL THUG BACK TO HIS BAD WAYS – WANTS AG TOMMY TO DROP CHARGES AGAINST HIM ‘JUST LIKE’ FOR GUAN ENG, RAFIZI, TONY PUA & SIVARASA – BUT OMITS TO SAY THOSE CASES WERE TRUMPED UP BY HIS OWN UMNO-BN & NONE OF THE HARAPAN LEADERS FLED TO INDONESIA LIKE HE DID, FORCING THE COPS TO PUT HIM ON INTERPOL RED LIST

PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos, who is facing multiple charges in court, has asked Attorney-General Tommy Thomas to revoke and drop all charges, as well as close all investigations, against him.
To this end, Jamal sent a letter of representation through his lawyers to Thomas at the Attorney-General’s Chambers here on Thursday (Sept 6).
“In the recent few months, I’ve seen that the Attorney General is very good because many people have been set free, such as Rafizi Ramli, Lim Guan Eng, Tony Pua, Sivarasa Rasiah, and Ratu Naga (Syarul Ema Rena Abu Samah).
“I want to take advantage of his generosity and also ask for him to recall the cases against me,” Jamal told reporters here on Thursday (Sept 6) after submitting the letter.
The Sungai Besar Umno division chief is facing three court charges, with two more coming up.
There are also another 25 cases under investigation involving him.
Asking for all of them to be retracted, Jamal, together with his lawyers Datuk Sulaiman Ismail and Datuk Imran Tamrin, met with Thomas’ special officer Wasri Ahmad Sujani to submit the letter.
In a sarcastic jibe, Jamal said Finance Minister Lim’s recent acquittal of corruption showed that Thomas was “kindhearted and generous”.
He said all Malaysians and also non-Malaysians facing court charges in the country should also write a letter of representation to Thomas to drop their cases.
“I believe that all of their charges will also be dropped.
“I also ask former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to do the same.
What’s the point of being angry with Thomas when you haven’t even made the application?” said Jamal.
He added that Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad made the right choice in picking Thomas as the country had seen the number of prisoners declining.
“If you want to compare him to the previous Attorney Generals who were strict  and firm, they are evil and this new one is kind,” he said.
Jamal added that he was confident and believed that Thomas would respond favourably to his application.
Jamal added that his offences, such as accidentally entering a women’s toilet and smashing beer bottles, were minor.
“Looking at his current trend, there is no reason why he won’t consider letting me go or for him to reject my application,” he said.
Jamal is facing three charges, including two offences of trespass in Taman Kosas two years ago.
He was also charged with deliberately fleeing from police custody in May this year at the Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital’s premium ward, where he was undergoing treatment for back pain.
