PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang will pen an invite to Pakatan Harapan leader Dr Mahathir Mohamad for a forum between them to be held on 'another day'.
This came after the prime minister responded that he would not have forum with Hadi today but they may have it on 'another day'.
"Inshallah (God willing). Can, can. (We) will fix the time," Hadi told the media during a PAS ceramah held at Kampung Batu Tembok in Linggi last night.
Hadi said he is ready for the forum and he is fine with any topic that Mahathir may bring up at the forum.
"Let's wait. I cannot decide (what kind of issue) now. Have to respect the elder," added Hadi.
Mahathir will arrive in Port Dickson and campaign for harapan candidate Anwar Ibrahim at the PD Waterfront tonight.
Hadi has indicated that he was interested to engage with Mahathir in a forum when Mahathir turns up in Port Dickson during the by-election campaign.
"If there is a forum with the prime minister, that would be best," Hadi said.
Mahathir said he would not have a forum with Hadi in Port Dickson, as his visit there was to campaign for Anwar. -Mkini
