JOHOR BARU: Those intending to write greeting cards to the Johor Ruler to wish him Hari Raya should not be surprised if they get a personal reply from him.
This year, Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar will personally reply Hari Raya greeting cards sent to him by well-wishers of all races in Johor and from throughout the country.
“I would be happy to receive Hari Raya greetings and well-wishes from 'Bangsa Johor' and all other Malaysians, which I will respond to personally,” he said in a posting on his official Facebook page.
The rakyat can send their Hari Raya cards to Istana Pasir Pelangi, Johor Baru.
Sultan Ibrahim believes the traditional practice of exchanging greeting cards during festive occasions was a great way to bring people together in the true spirit of unity, harmony and solidarity.
I have been reading the comments on my Facebook account in response to an earlier posting today about my signing Hari Raya cards this year.
