My comments : I recall when we were in Jalan Masjid India for almost 15 years on certain days all the illegal stall operators (Indonesians, Myanmars, etc) would suddenly disappear - for a certain amount of time. That would be the days when the DBKL "pretended" to carry out raids against the illegal stalls and warongs.
Information about the DBKL raids would have been leaked by corrupted DBKL enforcement fellows and all the illegal warongs would disappear.
I noticed the same thing when Zahid Komedi was the Minister of Home Affairs. He also would make public announcements about the exact date the Police / Immigration / Customs etc would conduct operations against this or that. Hence giving advance warning to all the criminals, the illegals and whoever to pack their bags and go into hiding for a while.
That was during the kleptocracy.
It is not clever of the Ketua Polis Selangor to make such a public announcement about their operations against the Africans. It will only give advance warning to the Africans to cover their tracks, to hide illegal things they are doing and also to contact their "middle men" to try and bribe the Police.
The Police should just go about conducting their raids without giving any advance warning to anyone. I hope the Police will make this a practise (SOP) from now onwards.
There is no need to give advance notice or advance warnings to the criminals and the wrong doers that you are coming after them. Just go ahead and do it.
