Machang Bersatu leader urges expulsion of Wan Ahmad Fayhsal from party, PN

MACHANG: The Machang Bersatu division has urged the party's disciplinary board to expel Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal from Bersatu and Perikatan Nasional (PN), saying his one-term suspension was too lenient given the alleged damage he caused to the party.

Its division chief, Kamaruddin Ab Kadir, said Wan Ahmad Fayhsal was no longer fit to remain in Bersatu or PN, and called for his immediate and permanent dismissal without delay or compromise.

"The decision to suspend him for one term is insufficient and far too soft compared with the damage he has caused to the party, particularly to Bersatu Machang," he said.

He said Wan Ahmad Fayhsal had repeatedly shown disregard for party discipline, challenged leadership decisions, and created confusion and division at the divisional level.

He also claimed that Wan Ahmad Fayhsal had lodged complaints against the Bersatu Machang division election and conference using falsified statutory declarations (SDs), which he described as a serious and malicious act undermining the party's internal democratic process.

"As such, we urge the disciplinary board to expedite action on all complaints lodged against him, especially those involving the alleged use of falsified SDs.

"This matter must not be allowed to drag on, as it concerns the integrity of the party and the legitimacy of the division's leadership," he said.

Kamaruddin also demanded that Wan Ahmad Fayhsal be immediately removed from the list of PN members of parliament and that his status be changed to an Independent MP.

"Individuals who continuously attack the party, challenge the leadership, and damage the internal structure should not be allowed to continue sheltering under PN's name and logo," he said.

He said the Bersatu Appeals Board should not consider any appeal from Wan Ahmad Fayhsal, nor from Bersatu Supreme Leadership Council member Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan, claiming that both had shown no remorse and continued to openly attack the party and the office of the Bersatu president.

"Allowing appeals from such individuals will only weaken party discipline and authority," he said.

He said Bersatu must be protected from individuals who resort to intimidation, document manipulation, and perception games for personal gain.

"Machang Bersatu stands firm in supporting decisive action to restore discipline, integrity, and the party's dignity.

"If firm measures are not taken now, Bersatu will continue to be held hostage by disloyal individuals," he said. - NST
