The national post and parcel service provider will update its rates every Friday from March 27.

PETALING JAYA: Pos Malaysia Bhd has started imposing a fuel surcharge of between 15% and 40% for domestic and international shipments from today.
The national post and parcel service provider said this is in light of recent fuel price increases following the escalation of the Middle East conflict.
In a Facebook post, it also said it will update its fuel surcharge rates every Friday from March 27.
For international shipments, a 40% fuel surcharge on the base price of the shipment will be imposed.
All domestic shipments will have an additional 15% on top of the existing domestic fuel surcharge.
The war involving Iran, Israel and the US has led to Tehran closing off the Strait of Hormuz, a key passageway for about 20% of the world’s oil supply, leading to a surge in oil prices.
The price of RON97 petrol and non-subsidised RON95 has gone up by 60 sen, and the price of diesel in West Malaysia by 80 sen following the global rise in oil prices. - FMT
