Krishna Govinth slams party president Larry Sng's statement that those who quit made a 'mistake'.

Krishna Govinth said Sng’s response underscored a failure to acknowledge the reality that the lack of cohesive leadership had led to the “exodus of capable, dedicated leaders and grassroots members”.
“When people leave a house consistently over a prolonged period, the problem is not the architecture of the house, the problem lies squarely with the landlord,” PBM’s former Selangor secretary told FMT.
Earlier this evening, it was reported that a few PBM leaders at the state and division level quit the party with immediate effect, with more expected to follow suit.
An unfazed Sng, however, said he personally felt that those who left the party made a mistake, “but since they are young, it is good for them to learn it the hard way”.
The Julau MP said he expects other people to take the place of those who resigned.
He also said PBM would not welcome members who quit the party back into its folds in the distant future.
“A good horse does not turn back to eat the grass behind,” he said, quoting a Chinese proverb.
Krishna, however, said a horse does not look back because it “recognises that pasture has dried up under poor management”.
He said he and the rest who resigned were choosing a path that offers genuine momentum, clear direction, and real hope for political reform.
“We leave with our heads held high, proud of our efforts under difficult circumstances, but fully aware that real political change requires accountable, stable, and clear leadership, not hearsay and false promises,” he said. - FMT
