KOTA KINABALU: The Coroner’s Court was told that a photo and video extracted from Zara Qairina Mahathir’s mobile phone were confirmed to be original and unaltered.Computer Crimes Investigation Unit analyst ASP Mohd Zaidi Abu Hassan testified that, based on his experience, both the image and video showed no signs of editing, tampering or modification.The court was also informed that the photo was taken on 12 July 2025 in the evening, while the video was recorded at 4.43pm the same day, although no location data was available.
A total of 3,625 photos and three videos dated 12 July 2025 were extracted from the device.
The analyst added his role was limited to data extraction and analysis as instructed by the investigating officer. - dailyexpresssabah
