DAP veteran Tony Pua has urged Pakatan Harapan to set a timeline for ending the Madani coalition.
This is after Johor BN said it would contest all 56 state seats in the next state election.
"Umno has revealed its true colours - wanting its cake and eating it too.
"This makes an electoral pact between Harapan and BN in GE16 completely untenable.
“It is time to set a timeline to dissolve the Madani coalition, lest we be stabbed in the back by the treacherous Umno," he said on Facebook today.
Johor BN announced its plans yesterday - a day before Harapan was set to hold its national convention in Johor Bahru.
State BN chief Onn Hafiz Ghazi said the decision to contest solo was made after consultation with the Umno leadership.

No trust left
Pua asserted that there's no reason to trust Umno leaders who said the decision in Johor won't affect BN-Harapan ties at the federal level.
He believed it would be more honourable for Harapan to go against BN even if victory is not guaranteed.
"Sure, we are struggling with many negative voter perceptions, despite many successes, especially with the economy.
"But it is better we lose the election - and that's not a given - with dignity and honour, than suffer treachery at the hands of Umno," he said.
"Biar putih tulang, jangan putih di mata (death before dishonour)," he added.

BN is keen to repeat its previous successes during the Malacca and Johor snap state polls in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
During those contests, low turnout allowed BN to capitalise on multicornered fights and win a supermajority in the state.
However, these gains were reversed at the Parliament level in the 2022 general election - most notably in Malacca, where BN failed to win any federal seats.
BN's decision to go solo in Johor is the latest blow to its relationship with Harapan following the coalition's move to withdraw support from Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun last month. - Mkini
