The Sabah health department says it does not tolerate any form of misconduct, particularly sexual assault, harassment and workplace bullying.

The Sabah health department (JKNS) said in a statement today that the investigation was conducted by a special committee appointed by the health ministry to look into the allegations, which had gone viral on social media.
“JKNS wishes to emphasise that the department does not tolerate any form of misconduct, particularly sexual assault, harassment and workplace bullying,” the statement read.
It added that such conduct is contrary to the values of integrity and ethics in the public service, besides affecting the physical and mental well-being of healthcare personnel.
The department said it remains committed to ensuring all staff can carry out their duties in a safe, respectful and conducive working environment to uphold integrity and safeguard employees’ welfare.
JKNS also expressed appreciation to all parties for allowing the administrative process to proceed in an orderly, fair and transparent manner in accordance with the relevant regulations. - FMT
