BN man: I have only sued one person - Guan Eng

BN strategic communications deputy director Eric See-To has denied being fond of suing people as alleged by Lim Guan Eng and said he has only sued one person in his life, that being the Penang chief minister himself.
In a statement, See-To said he was "tempted" to sue Lim again for saying he was fond of suing people but would rather have the DAP secretary-general debate MCA deputy president Wee Ka Siong on the Penang undersea tunnel issue instead.
The tit-for-tat comes following Lim's remark earlier today labelling See-To a liar for claiming his (Guan Eng's) father Lim Kit Siang was the top man in DAP.
This after Guan Eng dismissed Wee's challenge to a public debate on the tunnel issue, saying he would only debate with MCA president Liow Tiong Lai.
Guan Eng (below) had also said that See-To was free to take whatever action against him over the "liar" badge, as the latter was "fond of suing people". He added that he had been sued by See-To before but the suit was withdrawn.
See-To questioned if Guan Eng was really number one in DAP, as he had claimed, as that would mean his own father was his "macai" (minion) like others in the party.
Recalling the legal action, See-To said the defamation suit between him and Guan Eng was settled amicably following the judge's request in chambers.
"Out of respect for the judge, I shall not repeat what Guan Eng said to me on why we should settle this. Guan Eng knows what he said.
"However, I can confirm that just before we entered the chambers, DAP's Ronnie Liu asked me twice to settle my case against Guan Eng. My lawyer was also there and he can be my witness," he said.
See-To claimed that it was Guan Eng, in fact, who was fond of suing people citing the three lawsuits the chief minister dished out to Penang Gerakan Youth Leader Jason Loo for questioning the direct negotiation process in the Peel Avenue land sale in the state. -Mkini
