PAS as kingmakers? Azmin says the people will decide

It is the people who will have the final say in the 14th general election, said Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali.

Azmin was asked to respond to PAS' desire to become a kingmaker in Selangor by forcing a hung state assembly.

"What is important is the future of the state and country which will be decided by the people and not any political party," he told journalists in Kajang today.

Azmin also noted that Pakatan Harapan has unveiled its manifesto for the 14th general election.

"We have made our manifesto and policies but in the end, we must trust in the wisdom of the people.

"It is they who will determine whether leaders deserve to continue leading the country or state," he added.

Selangor PAS is aiming to win 25 out of the 56 state seats.

The number falls short of a majority but will force either Harapan or BN to form a pact with PAS. - Mkini
