An audio clip purportedly quoting a PAS leader talking about funding from Umno should be subject to a proper forensic analysis, said Amanah vice-president Husam Musa (above).
Husam said the allegations contained in the clip had serious implications for PAS and therefore proper investigations were necessary.
"If it is not the voice of Nik Abduh (Nik Aziz) then whose voice is it? Who was the one who released the audio clip?" asked Husam during a press conference today.
Husam, who was sacked from PAS in 2016, said if the audio clip was a fake, then PAS should lodge a police report to hunt down the perpetrator.
Late last month, Amanah Kelantan Youth chief Hazmi Hassan posted onto social media the minute-long audio clip which allegedly quoted Nik Abduh (above), a PAS central committee member, talking about funding from Umno.
Nik Abduh has denied the voice in the clip was his and urged Hazmi to repent.
Fellow PAS central committee member Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali, too, dismissed the authenticity of the video clip and stressed that it was easy to find someone who sounded like a PAS leader. - Mkini
