GE14 | Ahmad Yakob was once again sworn in as Kelantan menteri besar today, at Istana Kota Lama in Kota Bahru.
This will be Ahmad's second term in office.
Ahmad, who won the Pasir Pekan state seat in the 14th general election, was sworn in at 11.30am in front of Tengku Mahkota Kelantan and heir to the Kelantan throne Dr Tengku Muhammad Fa-iz Petra.
Also present during the ceremony was Tengku Temenggong of Kelantan Tengku Muhammad Rizam Tengku, Judicial Commissioner Ahmad Bache and Kelantan mufti Mohamad Shukri Mohamad.
Kelantan PAS succeeded in retaining control of the state after winning 37 out of the 45 state assembly seats in yesterday's general election.
The party also won nine out of the 14 parliamentary seats it contested. -Mkini
