How a woman dress is a hot topic among certain people in Malaysia. Although most women dress according to their likes and taste, some short or some long, some loose and some tight but in general, Malaysians women on the whole have always kept their modesty in line with current fashion. It is some men who are 'pervert' who think they are poorly dressed or revealing their modesty.
The recent remark by a Muslim caller, Azrul during a talk show, who claimed that Nurul Izzah's tudung worn occasionally shifted and exposed her brassiere and even her breasts and while wearing her tight baju kebaya, her underwear could be seen.
Men need to realise that such invasiveness smacks of the sexism and harassment on women must be avoided and better understanding, appreciation and treatment of women must be cultivated.
Women know what to wear and what not to wear.
Let's stop this 'pervert' mentality on women and uplift our own lives for a better Malaysia.
If anyone finds a woman not dressed appropriately should approach her directly and tell her nicely or just ignore her totally. Can we do that. Please avoid public debate to embarrass a female individuals, let it be a VIP or a normal simple lady in the street, kampong or anywhere.
