KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Traffic flow on the Kuala Lumpur-Seremban Expressway heading towards the federal capital was congested over more than 5km, following an accident involving a lorry and four cars on Wednesday (Sept 25).
The accident at about 6am is believed to have occurred when a lorry transporting mineral water skidded and breach the opposite lanes before colliding with four cars.
No casualty was reported in the incident.
Lorry driver V. Ramesh, 32, said the accident occurred when the lorry he was driving skidded after one of the tyres burst.
“The lorry attendant and I were travelling to Seremban when suddenly the tyre burst...the lorry was certainly uncontrollable.
“I applied the brake a number of times but without success, resulting in the vehicle entering the opposite lane, ” he told Bernama at the scene.

A check at the location found that works to remove the vehicles involved in the collision were still going on. – Bernama
