Bera PKR chief wants Farhash disciplined

Bera PKR division chief Zakaria Abdul Hamid (above) wants the party's disciplinary board to take action against Perak party chief Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak.
This is over a riot in Ampang on Aug 31, in which a police report was lodged claiming Farhash had assaulted an individual.
Zakaria, who is also an Azmin Ali-aligned PKR central leadership member, said this was not the first time Farhash had been accused of a criminal act.
"This arrogant behaviour, which disrespects the law, should stop immediately as it affects the party and the president's (Anwar Ibrahim) good name.
"As such, I urge there to be an immediate investigation by the disciplinary board without fear or favour, and stern action needs to be taken to safeguard the (party's) honour and ensure all members have good personalities," he said.
Farhash (above), who is also Anwar's political secretary, had previously been arrested in July and investigated over the sex video implicating Azmin.
In regards to last Saturday's riot, Farhash said he would cooperate with the police. He also claimed his accuser was involved in a criminal court case involving Farhash’s family.
Selangor CID chief Fadzil Ahmat said yesterday that about 12 to 14 men were involved in the Merdeka Day incident, where the suspect is alleged to have shoved the complainant in the face upon seeing him.
After being told to leave by the sports complex management, the complainant supposedly went to the motorcycle parking area outside where he was attacked with knives, helmets and chairs by 10 men, resulting in injuries.
Farhash was yesterday quoted as stating that the viral message circulated claiming that he was involved in a fight, is slander against him by his political opponents, and that people had been “paid to slander” him.
PKR's political bureau is meeting tonight, and the incident involving Farhash could be one of the topics discussed - Mkini
