OKSANA Voevodina, the 27-year-old Russian beauty queen, has spoken of the collapse of her marriage to Sultan of Kelantan Sultan Muhammad V.

Speaking to British tabloid, MailOnline, Voevodina said she has had no contact with the sultan since December and she was four months pregnant when she found out on the internet he was divorcing her.

The former beauty queen told the tabloid said she also planned to open up a YouTube channel, in which she would document how she would raise her son, while answering questions from interested parties.

According to the sultan’s Singapore-based lawyers, a question mark hangs over the paternity of Voevodina’s child, Leon, which it is understood why Sultan Muhammad departed so abruptly.

However, Voevodina vigorously denies this and, according to the British daily, is willing for her child to take a DNA test to affirm the head of the Kelantan royal house is the father.

“I have nothing to prove to anybody because (Leon) is his son, born in a legal marriage and he was a planned and desired baby,” she told the portal, the online version of The Daily Mail.

“He looks every bit like his father.

“No matter what happened to our marriage, I want my son to have both parents. Just think about your son,” she said to the portal, in a message to her ex-husband.

The couple were married in Kelantan on June 7 last year, followed by a similarly extravagant reception in Moscow but, according to Voevodina, the marriage went sour within a few weeks and she did not fully understand why.

She also denied she was the reason the sultan abdicated the throne of Malaysia earlier this year.

Sultan Muhammad stepped down as king of Malaysia in June this year, the first ruling monarch to do so in the nation’s history.
