KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 32 men, believed to be members of Geng 24 Kulai, were arrested following multiple raids in Johor, says Comm Datuk Huzir Mohamed.
The Bukit Aman CID director said the gang members were detained in the special operation conducted between 12.30am and 5am on Wednesday (Sept 25).
“In one of the raids, the suspects were in the midst of gambling.
“We seized RM68,000 in cash being used for bets, ” he told a press conference in Bukit Aman later on Wednesday.
Touching on a video which went viral involving the gang, Comm Huzir said police have identified the individual in the video.
“The suspect, who has a police record, is overseas and we urge him to come back as soon as possible, ” he said.

The case of Geng 24 Kulai is being investigated under Section 43 of the Societies Act, he added.- Star
