KUALA LUMPUR: Activist Badrul Hisham Shaharin said he has resubmitted documents to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on alleged corruption involving Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) personnel.
Also known as Chegubard, the Bersatu leader said he personally went to the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya today to hand over company documents and ledger extracts, which he claimed showed various forms of payments, including cash, bank transfers and cheques.
"This includes monthly allowances, festive contributions, 'tender preparation' expenses, umrah trips, a new house and golf club membership fees," he said in a Facebook post.
He said that some of the information had been channelled to the authorities nearly two weeks ago, but claimed progress had been slow, prompting him to reveal part of the information publicly and lodge a police report at the Dang Wangi police headquarters.
"For the record, not all the information we obtained was made public. Most of it has been submitted directly to the authorities through various channels.
"Among the materials handed over are details to help initiate investigations, including information on the locations of houses and possible places where assets are kept," he said.
He also claimed that the names of several individuals he believes should be investigated have been given to MACC officers.
Badrul said he hoped MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki or relevant officers would collect the documents from the commission's headquarters lobby counter.
He added that his group plans to submit further information later this week, including matters involving zakat management in a state, operational issues related to the Armed Forces, and new information on another branch of the civil service, alleging that a senior figure was living beyond his means. - NST
