THE health of former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is reportedly continuing to show positive progress, as he was seen out having coffee after 22 days of treatment at the National Heart Institute.
According to a report by Kosmo, the matter was confirmed by an officer from Mahathir’s office, Sufi Yusoff, who said Tun M spent a short time at Pavilion Damansara.
The Malaysian Gazette also carried a similar post on Facebook, which received overwhelming well wishes from netizens.

Some, however, hints of sarcasm, as seen in netizen Christopher Chris who said, “Tun, please rest. Don’t politic anymore.”
Also, Demi Rakyat said the man lived only to insult Anwar’s name. Previously, Tun Dr Mahathir’s recovery process at IJN, following a hip fracture, was expected to take a relatively long time due to his age.
It is also understood that the best course of treatment for him was decided to be physiotherapy without surgery. — Focus Malaysia
