It is unclear if the puppy survived the incident in Shah Alam.

Shah Alam police chief Ramsay Embol said a member of the public lodged a report at 2.14am yesterday after coming across a viral video of the incident, Bernama reported.
The suspect was arrested at 3.40pm at the scene of the incident.
“During the arrest, three dogs were also seized from the suspect with the assistance of the Selangor veterinary services department.
“The case is being investigated under Section 29 of the Animal Welfare Act 2015 for animal cruelty and Section 428 of the Penal Code for committing mischief by killing, poisoning, maiming, or rendering an animal useless,” he said.
The video showed the suspect aggressively submerging the puppy in the water tank. It is unclear if the puppy is still alive. - FMT
