An autopsy confirmed that the foetus had died more than 24 hours earlier following a miscarriage.

PETALING JAYA: Two women have been arrested to assist in an investigation after a foetus was found in front of a children’s home at Jalan Bukit Gasing here yesterday.
Petaling Jaya police chief Shamsudin Mamat said the women, in their 20s, were arrested after a police report was lodged at 8.10am, Bernama reported.
An autopsy confirmed that the foetus had died more than 24 hours earlier following a miscarriage.
Shamsudin said several case items were confiscated but both suspects do not have a criminal record. One of them was remanded until tomorrow, and the other is under remand until Monday.
The case is being investigated under Section 318 of the Penal Code for concealing a birth with the intention of disposing of the body. - FMT
